Nicki Minaj's UK tour is in crisis with poor ticket sales and no sold out dates
Nicki Minaj’s ticket sales are even more painful than the scuffle she had with Cardi B during their shoe-throwing row in September.
The rapper opened last night’s brilliant MTV European Music Awards in Spain — but the performance was a last-ditch attempt to sell seats for her European jaunt.

Her 22-date tour is due to kick off in Munich, Germany, in February but it is in crisis with not a single date having yet sold out.
The string of shows was announced in June and will see her co-headline with rapper Future, but even that has failed to prompt sales.
A music insider said: “Nicki is a big name in the industry but she is becoming known more for the drama around what she says and does rather than her music.
“Her feud with Cardi B has turned a lot of people off her and even getting Future involved in the tour hasn’t shifted tickets.

“Thousands and thousands of tickets for her show remain unsold and it’s just not good at all, especially as she already had to postpone her US dates earlier this year because her album wasn’t ready.”
It will be her first time touring here in four years and follows her record Queen, which peaked at No5 in August.
She will have been hoping that her appearance at last night’s EMAs, held at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Barakaldo, was enough to encourage people to part with their cash to see her.
She jetted from the US to perform her collaboration Goodbye with Jason Derulo and David Guetta, and to join Little Mix for their tune Woman Like Me — currently No2 and her highest charting UK single in four years.
Nicki Minaj looks stunning in a totally see through catsuit at Diesel's anti-bullying charity launch in MilanNicki, who won the Best Look and Best Hip-Hop gongs last night, is likely to have had a few choice words for the girls though, after it was revealed last week that Cardi had also been asked to appear on the track.
Her relationship with Cardi is far from friendly, with the latter throwing her shoe at her at a New York Fashion Week party in September and just last week slating her on Instagram.
Perhaps her tour, if she ever gets around to doing one, may fair a bit better.

Mixed fortunes
Little Mix kept their poise on the MTV EMA carpet days after being caught up in a furious row between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall wore snazzy outfits before joining Nicki to perform their new hit Woman Like Me.

Nicki’s famous feud with Cardi reignited last Monday when the latter claimed she was actually Little Mix’s first choice to sing on the track.
But she was left with egg on her face when the Brits denied it, tweeting: “Both were approached by our label to work with us on Woman Like Me, Nicki then Cardi.
“We went with Nicki because like we’ve said over and over for years, it’s been a dream of ours to work with her since the beginning.”
Meanwhile, the night’s big winner Camilla Cabello was arguably the night’s best dressed.
Little Mix join forces with Nicki Minaj to perform their new song Woman Like Me at the MTV EMAsAfter months of speculation she denied that she will play Maria in Steven Spielberg’s Hollywood remake of West Side Story.
She said: “That’s not true. I’m not in it.”
But on the prospect of acting she added: “Maybe if there was the right role but my number one is definitely always going to be music.”

Dua hefty tax bill
Dua Lipa won’t have been short on cash to splash while celebrating her Europe Music Awards win.
I can reveal that the singer, who bagged the Best Pop gong, raked in £65,000 A WEEK last year as she rocketed to stardom following the release of her self-titled debut album.

Dua pocketed a staggering £3.4million in 2017. This is all thanks to her platinum album and lucrative gigs worldwide – including her Hotter Than Hell Tour in the UK, Ireland and Europe in 2016.
And the money-spinning isn’t going to stop anytime soon, as Dua recently teased that her second album would be out in 2019, and would be heavily influenced by acts such as Prince and Outkast.

Joey Essex managed to wangle a ticket for the show and saw it as an opportunity to spend an evening finding a new girlfriend.
He said: “There’s a lot of hot women here. I’ve got my eye on quite a few, to be honest.”
Has Jason broken De rule on drugs?
There may have been a pungent smell coming from Jason Derulo’s dressing room.
Prior to the ceremony, he called for marijuana to be legalised, insisting he had found it to be a positive drug.

In an exclusive chat, he said: “I think it’s really helpful in so many ways.
“I’ve watched people suffer and with marijuana, the suffering gets to be subsided a little bit. That’s from personal experiences.
“So for me, I know it’s a humongous help for people and I think it should be legalised.”
But the former party boy admitted he is reformed after years of wild nights out.

He added: “I do still party, it’s just how much I am drinking, I really pay attention to that, especially when I’m on the road and I have back-to-back shows.
“As a young artist I would get fatigued during these performances and I couldn’t realise why.
“Partying is fine as long as you’re not screaming during the night because that’s going to strain your voice, and not drinking too much. I’d say I have about three drinks on a night out.”
More for me then.
